Meet the team

  • Director / Architect / Creative Lead

    MA(RCA) BA(Hons) PGDip PGCert ARB RIBA

    Scott is a RIBA Chartered architect with 20+ years' experience. He co-founded Hills & Co. in 2015 and is the design lead in the studio. He studied in Leeds, graduating with a first-class honours degree, followed by a Masters from the Royal College of Art in London. His work has been published and exhibited many times, most notably in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and design nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medal. He has taught as a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in the UK and Europe, most recently having led undergraduate and MArch design studios at UWE Bristol. He is a Certified PassivHaus Designer.

    Scott lives in the Wye Valley with his. family.

  • Director / Interiors

    MA(RCA) Beng(Hons) DIC

    Sophie is a qualified member of the British Institute of Interior Design with 18 years of design experience, specialising in residential, commercial and community projects. She’s worked with international brands and craftsmen, blending materials, colour, and texture to create distinctive designs. She co-founded Hills & Co. in 2015 and is the interiors lead in the studio. She studied at The University of Nottingham and The Royal College of Art in London. Sophie also has 14 years of experience as a Senior Design Lecturer.

    She lives in the Wye Valley with her family.

  • Project Architect

    MArch(Hons) BA(Hons) PGDip ARB

    Alex is a Chartered architect with 5+ years of experience. He studied at Portsmouth, Cardiff, and Westminster, focusing on architecture and craft. With a background at award-winning London practices, Alex specializes in designing livable spaces, combining creativity with technical expertise.

    He draws inspiration from nature and enjoys working on projects of various scales.
